Community Christian School is dedicated to developing Christian student athletes, instilling in them values that are in keeping with the character of Christ while challenging them to compete at their highest level, promoting lifelong fitness, and creating a positive and rewarding athletic experience. We take pride in the performance, dedication and attitude of our athletes, and are striving to help them become good stewards of their bodies - the living temple of the Holy Spirit.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 "Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body."
It is the purpose of CCS athletics to help fulfill the vision of Community Christian School - Disciple, Develop, Discover. Sports are an instrumental channel for fostering Christian character and a disciplined lifestyle. We feel that our sports should revolve around the following characteristics in order to glorify God in our athletics:
Community Christian school participates in the Florida Christian Athletic Conference, which allows our Junior and Varsity Basketball teams to compete in the IAAF "Independent Athletic Association of Florida" State Tournaments.
For High School area competive sports Community Christian School is a member of the FHSAA "Florida High School Athletic Association" classified 1A for Independent Schools.
