I had the blessing of being born overseas in Lakenheath, England while my family was stationed there in the Air Force. We moved around for 3 years and when I was 6 years old, we moved to “Sunny Florida.” I was so happy to call Niceville my home for over 20 years. In 1990, God moved me to Melbourne where I live with my wonderful husband, two precious daughters and loveable yorkie, Ladybug.
I also attended College prior to that in Niceville at Okaloosa-Walton Junior College.
I taught the Pre-K here for 6 years until God had another plan for me here at CCS and I started working in the office, which is where I have been since 2006. My position now as Administrative Assistant to Mrs. Earls is “joy unspeakable and full of glory.” Working together with her is a gift from the Lord above and I thank Him for it each and everyday.
My parents not only took me to church growing up, but also went with me and my sister. They were a wonderful example of God’s love in our home. When I was 9 years old, I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior at Vacation Bible School.
My favorite verse of the Bible gives me peace during good and struggling times. 1 Peter 5:7 gives me such excitement to know that “He cares for me.” On this journey of life, I am so happy that my road is here at Community Christian School.
1 Peter 5:7 “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.”
