I grew up in a Christian home. Both my parents are born again believers. I was involved in the choir when I was very young and continued until high school. I love singing God praises! When I was in 2nd grade I prayed the Lord’s prayer for Jesus to come into my heart and to learn His Word and live my life for him. I try to live each and every day to serve and please God by praying and making the choices that follows His Word and His plan for my life.
I am blessed to be married to my best friend. We have a daughter named Leah that will be turning one year old in August. We might be a small family but I wouldn’t trade being a wife or a mommy for anything in the world! God has blessed me with such a loving family. I am anxious and excited to watch my daughter learn and grow each and every day. Both my husband’s and my parents live in Melbourne/Palm Bay so we are happy and thrilled to live by both our families.
I believe that God has led me to be a teacher. I have previously taught 3rd grade in the public school system for 2 years. I love working with students and helping them discover who they are and what their gifts and talents are. I believe that it is my responsibility to help each student achieve success in the classroom so that they are equipped and ready for future life long learning. In my classroom, we are a family that works together to learn, grow, and have fun as we reach the goals and our potential that God has planned for us in our lives.
