I am blessed to be the first grade teacher at Community Christian School. I was born in California and moved to Florida in 1982. I graduated from the University of Central Florida where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I live with my husband Greg and I have two precious sons, Jonah and Andrew. They give me joy overflowing! I inherited two entertaining stepsons, Collin and Indiana. Yes, his real name is Indiana Jones. All of my boys keep me on my toes and on my knees.
When I was twelve years old, during a youth retreat, I made the decision to love and to live for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He called me to this ministry. I have had the honor and privilege to teach and to serve at CCS for 17 years. I love teaching young learners and I enjoy the staff I work with. It is my extended family.
A favorite Bible verse of mine is Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
It is a wonderful reminder of God’s love and plan for us individually as well as for our school. I look forward with hope to our future and the plans He has for us!
