High-quality Christian curriculum with a loving atmosphere, which nurtures each child in body, mind and spirit
I was born in Atlanta, Georgia. I moved 12 times over the years within many states, including Georgia, North Carolina, Ohio, and Florida. I grew up in an Irish Catholic household and attended private school most of my life. When I was 13, I moved to Melbourne and I have been calling Melbourne my home ever since.
While growing up, I continued my walk with God by joining the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), and running many youth groups at my church. I graduated from Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, where I earned a varsity letter in volleyball, cheerleading, tennis, and track and field. I played volleyball for most of my life and I was offered a full ride scholarship to Florida Atlantic University to join their team. However, during my senior year at HTEA, I injured my knee and was forced into retirement. I attended Florida State University and began coaching volleyball. Throughout my college years, I was part of Younglife and was able to lead youth to find their path to Christ.
My favorite Bible verse is John 3:16 “This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and everlasting life.” (The Message) This verse teaches us that, no matter what the challenges in life that you might come across, God loved you so much that he made the ultimate sacrifice.
