High-quality Christian curriculum with a loving atmosphere, which nurtures each child in body, mind and spirit

I was born and raised in Rhode Island and feel completely blessed that God has recently placed me here at Community Christian as the kindergarten teacher.  I moved to Florida with my wonderful husband Cory and our two children, Danny and Noah.   I graduated in 1994 from Bryant College with as B.S. in Business Administration and then worked as an account for a town in Rhode Island. After much prayer, I went back to college in 2007 in order to study education and eventually earned a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood and Special Education from Rhode Island College.  Prior to moving to Florida, I taught kindergarten at a public school.  Kindergarten-aged students fill my heart with excitement!  I love to see their eyes light up as they read their first word or discover something new about God’s creations.   I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior when I was a teenager, but it wasn’t until 2001 that I recommitted my life to Christ and submitted myself to serving Him in whatever capacity He sees fit.   Since then, He called me to serve in a variety of ministries at our local church in Rhode Island, including many years in Children’s Ministry.   I have the fondest memories of my time as Children’s Church teacher where I was able to share the weekly Bible story with the preschool and kindergarten age children.  The verse that I hold near and dear to my heart is Philippians 4:6 "Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God."
